3/4 cup uncooked rice
1/2 cup uncooked spaghetti or orzo
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
Break spaghetti into small pieces or use orzo. Add everything together and keep in a jar or bag.
Rice Side Dish
1 recipe mix
2 Tbsp Butter
2 Cups chicken or vegetable broth/stock
brown butter in skillet. Add mix and liquid. Cook, stirring frequently until rice and pasta are cooked through.
Herbed Garlic Rice Side Dish Mix

3/4 cup uncooked rice
1 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp salt

Spanish Rice Side Dish Mix
1/2 cup uncooked spaghetti
3/4 cup uncooked rice
1 tsp salt
1 tsp minced onion
1 TBSP dried tomato powder (see notes below) OR 1 cup diced in place of 1 cup of the liquid
1/2 tsp chili powder

To cook:
brown butter in skillet. Add mix and liquid. Cook, stirring frequently until rice and pasta are cooked through.
*Notes - make dried tomato powder..Slice tomatoes into very thin pieces and dehydrate for at least 10 hours at 150 degrees. Keep in airtight container or freezer until ready to use. Store whole or grind into powder
